A Ghost Forever Lamented

I’ve found your ghost

Through ruins and black miasma.

Serenading broken harmonies,

Your soul marred in disdain.

A fallen life dredging past memories.

You emptied your life away.

Signed with blood,

A time in disarray.

Always you won,

Until it was a time to forget.

But still you wait here,

Never admitting you were wrong.

The constellations aligned,

The planets reformed,

But you can never bellow

A eulogy.

A time to defeat your pride.

And fading you are.

Through the decay and disorder,

Your breath a stain forever lamented.

You were wrong.
